Inventory Portal — User manual

Chemical factory stock, usage, and reporting by role.

1. Sign in

1. Go to /inventory/login.
2. Your account role (Owner, Inputer, or Chemist) determines which menu items you see.
3. Owners with multiple factories use the factory switcher at the bottom of the sidebar.

2. Owner role

• Dashboard — Overview metrics and quick links.
• Stock Ledger — Incoming stock with rates and invoice details.
• Usage Log — Consumption linked to invoices.
• Monthly Material — Period-based material entries.
• In/Out Products — Product master for movement screens.
• Inward / Outward — Factory-level movement records.
• Sales — Sales-related stock views.
• Reports — Analytics and exports.
• Management — Tabbed admin: factories, users, suppliers, permissions (similar to a master screen).

3. Inputer role

• Dashboard — Personal summary.
• New Entry — Log incoming stock (invoice, supplier, tons, rate, vehicle).
• My Entries — History and corrections of your submissions.

4. Chemist role

• Dashboard — Available stock without sensitive rate totals where restricted.
• Log Usage — Record usage by invoice and quantity.
• Monthly / Inward / Outward / My Usage — Operational views for daily lab work.

Chemists see stock through safe views — rates and values may be hidden per policy.

5. User management (Owner)

1. Open Management → Users to create Inputer or Chemist accounts.
2. Assign factories and permissions so each user only sees allowed data.
